Srisailam is situated in the thick and inaccessible forests of the Nallamalai hills, in the northeastern portion of the Nandikotkur Taluk of Kurnool District. It lies on a straight line west of Vijayawada, right as it were in the centre of South India.
Day 01 : Arrive Hyderabad
Welcome to Hyderabad, the City of Pearls. On arrival at Hyderabad airport or Hyderabad railway station, begin your tour. In the afternoon, proceed for local sightseeing of Qutub Shahi tombs, Golconda fort. Later, enjoy the light and sound show.
Day 02 : On to Srisailam via Nagarjuna Sagar(232 kms / approx. 6 hour drive)
Early morning, proceed to Nagarjuna Sagar. Visit Nagarjuna Sagar covering the dam, musuem, Ethipothal Waterfalls. Later proceed to Srisailam. On arrival into Srisailam, check into your hotel.
Day 03 : On to Hyderabad (232 kms / approx. 6 hour drive)
Witness an early morning Darshan / Pooja at Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple in Srisailam. Later visit the Shivaji Memorial, Patalganga, Sakshi Ganpati, and Hydro-Electric Project. In the afternoon, proceed to Hyderabad.
Day 04 : Depart Hyderabad
Return home with happy memories
