Day 1 : Arrive Ho Chi Minh City 


Welcome to Vietnam - a land of untouched nature, primeval forests and dusty roads!
On arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel.
The rest of the day is at leisure to explore this city. Ho Chi Minh City is commonly known as Saigon is the largest city in Vietnam and a throbbing commercial and economical centre of the country. It is one of Southeast Asia's liveliest cities. You can roam around the city and get a feel of this vivacious city.

Day 2 : Ho Chi Minh City


The rest of the evening is at leisure to wander through timeless alleys, teeming markets and past ramshackle wooden shops selling silk, spices and baskets or why not savour local cuisine at a restaurant!!

Enjoy full day tour of Ho Chi Minh City.

This morning, embark on a full day tour of Ho Chi Minh City, still called Saigon by many locals. This dynamic city has a unique life of its own. Visit to the Thien Hau Temple, lacquerware factory to witness workers continuing a Vietnamese ancestral tradition. Visit the War Museum and the former Presidential Palace, the Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Saigon Post Office, Dong Khoi Street (formerly Rue Catinat), continental Hotel Opera House and City Hall.

Day 3 : Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Delta - Ho Chi Minh City 


Explore full day tour of Mekong Delta.
Today, enjoy touring the bustling Mekong Delta, with a visit to the Vinh Trang Pagoda and a boat trip on the Mekong.
 
Overnight in Ho chi minh city (Saigon).
 
Day 4 : Ho Chi Minh City - Danang - Hoi An 


This morning, you will be transferred from your hotel to the airport. On arrival in Danang, you will be transferred to your hotel in Hoi An. The rest of the evening is at leisure to wander among historic homes and temples, perhaps stop to lounge in an open-air cafe, gaze at the oddities and exotic foods in the market.
Enjoy city tour of Hoi An with cruise on the Thu Bon River.
Enjoy a tour of the quaint, historic old town. Later, enjoy a short boat ride to a nearby island to visit a handicraft village specializing in ceramics and also the boat building yards.

Day 5 : Hoi An - Hue 


This morning, transfer from Hoi An to Hue, the former imperial capital of Vietnam. The scenic route passes through Danang before climbing over the Pass of Ocean Clouds and dropping down to the wonderfully photogenic fishing village of Lang Co.
Enjoy city tour of Hue.

In the afternoon, enjoy a city tour in the former city of the Nguyen Emperors, including highlights such as the Royal Palace, the forbidden city, the Citadel, the tomb of Khai Dinh and the tomb of Tu Duc.

Day 6 : Hue - Hanoi - Halong Bay 


After lunch, transfer to the airport for a short flight to Hanoi (Flight under own arrangement).
On arrival at the airport, travel to Halong Bay through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta and the scenery of rice fields, water buffalo and everyday Vietnamese village life. Halong Bay features more than one thousand awesome limestone karsts and islands of various sizes and shapes along the 120-km coastline of Bai Chay Beach. Its waters are host to a great diversity of ecosystems including offshore coral reefs, freshwater swamp forests, mangrove forests, small freshwater lakes, and sandy beaches.
Enjoy a boat trip on Perfume River.
This morning, enjoy a romantic boat trip on the 'Perfume River' with the sweet scent of tropical flowers and alluring folk music adding to the charm of the experience. The Song Huong River is popularly known as the Perfume River because of the fragrant smell it carries from the thick forest through which it flows. It then meanders its way through Hue in the central Vietnamese province of Thua Thein. Laze around in the boat and enjoy the scenic beauty along this 30 km long river, which flows past many villages. Visits Hue's best-known religious sites, Thien Mu Pagoda, and the mausoleum of former emperor Minh Mang, in a tranquil setting of gardens and lakes.
 
Overnight in Halong bay.
 
Day 7 : Halong Bay - Hanoi 


Transfer from hotel in Halong Bay to hotel in Hanoi, en route cruise along the Halong bay and visit to the But Thapa Pagoda.
This morning, board the Huong Hai or Bai Tho traditional sailing junk. Visit the famous stalagmites and stalactites of Thien Cung Cave. Enjoy a swim in the emerald waters of Halong Bay at any spot that you wish to visit. Disembark at the dock at Halong City.
Drive back to Hanoi with a stop en route at But Thapa Pagoda in Thuan Thanh Province, known for its four-storey stone stupa and referred to as Vietnam's first Buddhist centre. The pagoda, built in the 13th century and rebuilt in 1647 by the Buddhist monk Chuyet Chuyet, is a complex of ten buildings over an area of 100 meters that houses ancient statues and artifacts.
 
Overnight in Hanoi.
 
Day 8 : Hanoi 


The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the city. Why not sample some delicious local specialties around the street food corner? The city comes alive at night and you can stroll around admiring its various facets. 
City tour of Hanoi with cyclo tour of the Old quarter.
This morning, enjoy the essential sites of Hanoi on a city tour, including a visit to the Ho Chi Minh Complex, One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature, Museum of Ethnology and the Fine Art Museum. To complete the day, take a cyclo tour, a chauffeur-pedalled tricycle, through Hanoi's Old Quarter, also known as the '36 streets'. This bustling area of narrow streets and alleys is home to literally thousands of small businesses and shopkeepers. It's a great place to explore, especially by cyclo, with plenty of photo opportunities all around you.

Day 9 : Depart Hanoi 


Today, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
