Hampi, as it is popularly known today was the medieval capital of the Hindu empire Vijayanagara (the City of Victory). Hampi in the Karnataka state of India is listed as one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Hampi is the capital of erstwhile Vijayanagar empire.
Day 01 : Arrive Bellary ( approx 75kms / approx 2hours )
Welcome to tour of 'Vijayanagara Empire Hampi'. On arrival at Bellary Airport or Hospet Railway Station you will be transferred to the hotel. Rest of the evening is at leisure. Overnight in hotel.
Day 02 : In Hampi
This morning visit the The Virupaksha Temple, Achutaraya Temple, Hazara Rama Temple and the Vithala Temple Queen's bath, monolithic Ganesha, Ugra Narasimha. Later visit The Stone's Chariot, Elephant Stable, Balakrishna Temple, Sasivekalu Ganesha Temple, King's balance. The rest of the evening is free to relax or explore the local markets.Overnight in hotel.
Day 03 : Depart Bellary * Return home with happy memories
Today, bid farewell to your 'Vijayanagara Empire Hampi' tour, as you are transferred to Bellary airport / Hospet railway station for your onward journey.
