Day 01 : Arrive Delhi * On to Shimla (330 kms / approx. 9 hour drive)
Welcome to Shimla, on arrival at the Shimla airport or Shimla railway station, begin your tour of 'Shimla A Himalayan Retreat'. Proceed on a picturesque drive to the charming hill station of Shimla, derives its name from "Goddess Shyamla", avatar of Goddess Kali. Shimla can be visited any time during the year. Summers being warm with cool and pleasant evenings while winters bone chilling. On arrival, check into your hotel. The rest of the evening is at leisure. Overnight in hotel.
Day 02 : In Shimla *Excursion to Kufri and Chail (20 kms / approx. 1 hour drive)
Today, proceed on a wonderful excursion to Kufri and Chail. In Kufri, enjoy a walk through the thick cedar woods to Mahasu Peak for an amazing view of the mighty Himalayas. Visit the world's highest cricket and polo ground (at an altitude of 2,444 m) in Chail. Later in the day enjoy a local sightseeing tour of Shimla which includes visits to places such as the Vice Regal Lodge, Christ Church and Jakhoo Temple. In the evening, take a walk down the Mall Road and enjoy shopping on your own. The rest of the day is free to relax or explore the local markets as you stroll on Mall Road on your own.Overnight in hotel.
Day 03 : Depart Shimla * Return home with happy memories
Today, bid farewell to your ' Shimla A Himalayan Retreat' tour, as you are transferred to Shimla airport / railway station for your onward journey.
